Knoxville City officials hosting Disability Mentoring Day

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Knoxville City officials in the mayor's office, parks and recreation, communications, fleet services, and engineering departments will host folks for Disability Mentoring Day 2012.

More than 20 people with various disabilities will shadow city employees in a field they are interested in exploring.

Disability Mentoring Day, established in 1999 as part of a White House initiative to promote National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
