MASON, Mich. (AP) -- A mid-Michigan man has been named one of five finalists in a jingle-writing contest for Waggin' Train dog treats.

Dewey Longuski of Mason and four others will be flown next month to Nashville, Tenn., where they'll perform their jingles for Trace Adkins. The country music star will judge each finalist and select the grand prize winner.

The Tail Waggin' Jingle Contest winner gets to perform his or her jingle in a recording session produced by Adkins.

The contest invited dog owners from across the country to submit a video showing them performing an original jingle they created with lyrics that describe the time they share with their dog.

Longuski's jingle is entitled "Headin' Out to Tasty Town." His dog is named Joker.
