Last of former Vanderbilt players released from jail

Nashville The last of the former Vanderbilt Commodore football players charged with rape is out of jail after posting bond.

He and three others are accused of raping an unconscious student in a dormitory. They're facing five counts of aggravated rape and two counts of sexual battery.

Vandenburg is also looking at charges of tampering with evidence and unlawful photography.

The team dismissed all four players June 29 and kicked them off campus after Metro Nashville Police Department saw surveillance footage from June 23 with what they said was concerning behavior.

Two others not associated with the team are also charged in connection the case.
