ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Isaiah Hale is an articulate 10 year old who entered his drawing into the Red Ribbon Week contest and won!
He started drawing at a young age he told us, "When I was 5 years old my dad and I use to buy a lot of comic books. I didn't read them. I'd just look at the pictures and I started drawing."
A discovered talent that helped him win the statewide poster contest which has people talking about this young man.
Karen Bridgeman, of Anderson County Schools says, "We're really proud of him to take first place at the state is a really big deal. It's a first for Anderson County and a first for Briceville Elementary School to have a state contest winner in their midst."
Isaiah says that he's already for next years design and he's pretty sure he can win it again.
"This is a young man like so many of our children who can do whatever they set their minds and hearts on. The sky's the limit." says Karen Bridgeman.
