MTSU invites public to Agricultural Field Day

Visitors will hear about the dairy and livestock projects, see the new dairy calf barn, view the alfalfa establishment and production and see the beehives and apiary.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- Middle Tennessee State University's farm and dairy will be open to the public for an agricultural field day.

According to the university, on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m., the school will provide public tours of the facilities.

Visitors will hear about the dairy and livestock projects, see the new dairy calf barn, view the alfalfa establishment and production and see the beehives and apiary.

The MTSU Experiential Learning and Research Center is located at 3211 Guy James Road in Lascassas.
