JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- A Madison County grand jury has indicted a local man in the killing of a 19-year-old at a now-closed Jackson nightclub.
According to The Jackson Sun, charges that include first-degree murder were returned Tuesday against Travis Steed.
Steed is charged in the February shooting death of LeCarlos Todd, a Lane College student from Memphis. The shooting occurred at the former Karma Lounge.
Steed, who is 31, is serving a 12-year sentence in a separate case. He had been on probation at the time of the shooting and was confined after violating probationary terms.
