Man charged in fatal stabbing in Haywood County

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a Brownsville man has been charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing of another man found dead in an SUV.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says 53-year-old Floyd Hall III was charged Tuesday in the death of 50-year-old Noisy Gene Coble of Bells.

Coble's body was found slumped over the steering wheel of his 2000 Ford Expedition on a field access road in Haywood County on Saturday. The TBI says Coble had multiple stab wounds, and investigators determined he was stabbed to death inside the vehicle.

Authorities are working to determine the relationship between the two men.

Hall is being held in the Haywood County Jail without bond. It was not immediately clear if he had a lawyer Tuesday.
