Man charged with killing uncle

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- Police say a man has been charged with killing his 71-year-old uncle in Jackson.

According to The Jackson Sun, 36-year-old Travis Brint struck his uncle, Lofel Bonds, with a lamp and stick during a fight between the two men Saturday night.

Investigators and an assistant medical examiner believe Bonds died from blunt force trauma and have ruled his death a homicide.

The case is still being investigated.
