MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Memphis police say they have charged a suspect in the deaths of a couple found dead by their 7-year-old daughter.
The girl called 911 in after waking up April 24 to find her parents had been shot. She told the 911 operator that she was home with her younger siblings, and she couldn't wake up her parents. Police arrived to find both adults dead.
Police arrested 25-year-old Ricky Durham early Tuesday in the deaths of James and Danielle Alexander. The station reports Durham is charged with first-degree murder in perpetration of a robbery.
It wasn't immediately clear whether Durham has an attorney. He is due in court on Wednesday.
