MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Memphis say it isn't clear how a man's body ended up face-down on Interstate 55 under an overpass.
WMC-TV reported police responded to a call shortly before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday about a man who was down.
Officers found him unresponsive and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of his death is under investigation.
The body was in the northbound lanes of I-55 at Shelby Drive.
