KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) A few weeks ago dozens of people showed up at Painting With a Twist in West Knoxville to help Local 8 News Anchor Amanda Hara raise money for East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
Barry Jenkins lead the class, then donated his painting to be auctioned off for the cause.
On Friday, a gentleman named Dr. Randy Curlee called asking to purchase the painting in exchange for a $1,000 donation to ETCH.
The retired Oak Ridge scientist said he liked the painting, and planned to donate to ETCH anyways.
