GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Greene County Criminal Court jury has convicted a man of first-degree murder for the 2009 shooting death of Jimmy Lee Cutshall during a home invasion robbery inside the 54-year-old victim's mobile home.
Thirty-three-year-old Shawn Anthony Jones was also found guilty Wednesday of criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder for shooting and critically injuring Rhonda Cutshall, the victim's wife.
According to The Greeneville Sun, Jones was sentenced by Criminal Court Judge John F. Dugger Jr. to life in prison, an effective sentence of 60 years.
