CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- A man charged in a boating accident that killed his stepson and the young man's friend will stand trial in November in Chattanooga.
Bradley Crain will be tried on charges of criminally negligent homicide and drunken boating.
According to the Chattanooga Times Free Press, the defense attorney and a prosecutor declined comment after a hearing Wednesday.
A Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency report on the May 2009 incident concluded drugs and alcohol were among factors in the crash of a fishing boat that threw all three men into the Tennessee River.
Crain, who is 50, managed to swim to safety, but the bodies of 23-year-old Jeremy Landers and 22-year-old Jarmichael Russell were found floating in the river several days later.
