NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Mayor's Field Day Saturday in Nashville is Mayor Karl Dean's health challenge to fight obesity.
Some of the games to be played at LP Field are a tire roll, water run, sack hop and football toss. Current and former Tennessee Titans' players will participate since the event is a joint effort with the NFL Play60 campaign.
The event will also feature an obstacle course and educational fitness fair.
Dean said the day continues his commitment to improve the fitness of Nashvillians. Last year he sponsored program inviting citizens to walk 100 miles with him.
