Memphis man found dead in burning home

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Memphis firefighters have discovered a body in a burning home.

WMC-TV reported the blaze was called in at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. When the flames were knocked down and firefighters could get inside the house, they found the victim in a front bedroom.

Authorities said the man was 57 years old and he was alone in the home when the fire broke out. His name wasn't immediately released. Investigators are looking for the cause of the fire.
