PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Police say a Tennessee man has been arrested on more than 100 Pennsylvania child rape and abuse charges involving three young girls in Mercer County, about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh.
State police allege in a release Monday that 40-year-old Michael David Lewis of Nashville, Tenn., raped and assaulted the three girls at various times between 2009 and 2011. Police say the girls ranged in age from 9 to 14 at the time of the alleged assaults.
The FBI arrested Lewis in Nashville last week, and he will be extradited back to Pennsylvania to stand trial.
Lewis' attorney, Blair Harry Hindman, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
Police say Lewis is a former resident of Mercer County.
