Neighbors pull elderly couple from burning home
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Neighbors pulled an elderly couple out of a burning home in Memphis.
Larry Redwood told WMC-TV that when he and another neighbor saw the flames coming from a neighbor's a home early Thursday morning they broke a window and got the couple out.
Redwood said he did want anyone would have done when another person's life was in danger. He said he knew he had to help.
The fire began in the garage and quickly spread. The damage extended to a home next door and two vehicles in the driveway.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
