MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- Nissan North America officials will be in Murfreesboro to present a gift to Middle Tennessee State University.
The university says the gift will help the Japanese automaker promote the applications and use of electric vehicles.
Details will be released Tuesday afternoon.
Nissan has an auto assembly plant in Smyrna that is scheduled to begin making lithium ion batteries in September and to begin producing the all-electric vehicle the Leaf in December.
