One dead after Anderson County crash

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- One man is dead after an early morning crash in Lake City.

24 year old Ryan Houck of Norris was traveling southbound on Lake City Highway near Foster Road just before 3:30 Saturday morning in Anderson County, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The THP report states, Houck lost control of his Jeep and slid off the left side of the road hitting an embankment. The Jeep then went into the air, rolled, and partially ejected Houck.

Houck was not wearing a seat belt and officers believe this could have made a difference.
