Young mother killed and four others injured in Union County wreck

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT)--A young mother was killed in a three vehicle wreck in Union County. Her newborn son and three others were injured in the crash.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol the crash happened at 11:28 Friday morning on Maynardville Highway.

21 year old Alexa Stabile of Chattanooga was traveling North on Maynardville Highway when her Ford Mustang crossed over into the southbound lane.

Stabile then sideswiped a Chevrolet Camaro driven by 53 year old Flora West. Stabile continued on Maynardville Highway before crashing head on into a Toyota Camry driven by 44 year old Aleona Oculam with Cara Oculam, 16 inside.

Stabile was killed in the crash and her baby was injured. No word on the condition of the infant, Cara and Aleona Oculam, and West.
