KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Governor Bill Haslam proclaims October 25 "Paychecks for Patriots Day" in Tennessee.
The day features job fairs at 13 Tennessee career centers throughout the state, including one in Knoxville. That's from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m. at the Knoxville Career Center on University Avenue.
There's also a job fair today at the career center in Talbott. This one is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m. at the center on Andrew Johnson Highway.
These events will allow veterans get a chance to sit face to face with companies.
