NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a pilot was seriously injured when his small plane crashed in Cheatham County.
The plane crashed around 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Henrietta, Tennessee.
Officials told the TV station the pilot is expected to be OK, but received burns on 40 percent of his body. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The name of the pilot has not been released. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
