NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Plastics recycler The Highlands Group is putting a new facility in Elizabethton.
Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty said the state is working toward making Tennessee the top location in the Southeast for high-quality jobs.
The new recycling center will have 34 manufacturing jobs.
The Highland Group is based in Winston-Salem, N.C., and also has a production facility in Johnson City.
