Police arrest woman suspected of dealing drugs

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) - Knoxville police have arrested a woman on drug related charges.

The Knoxville Police Department’s Repeat Offender Squad served a state search warrant Tuesday night at 2733 Washington Avenue.

28-year-old Amelia Elaine Snider faces possession for resale and several other drug related charges.

When police arrested Snider, they say they found 20 Oxycodone pills, 1 1/4 methadone pill, and a small amount of marijuana. They also say there was drug paraphernalia, a pill cutter, a straw with residue, a marijuana pipe, a blue pill container, 2 cell phones, various paperwork to include prescriptions and receipts and a sale log.

Snider is being held on a $15,000 bond.
