NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Nashville say they found a man helping himself to parcels from people's porches.
Metro Nashville Police said an officer stopped a pickup truck in a subdivision and found more than a dozen boxes addressed to different people in it. None were addressed to Kory V. Harding, who was driving the truck. One of the packages contained a piece of exercise equipment valued at more than $1,000.
Police got a search warrant and found other apparently stolen parcels in Harding's home Thursday evening.
Investigators charged Harding with felony theft and driving on a suspended license. He was also being charged with illegal possession of a firearm because he is a felon.
The parcels were routed to the people they were addressed to.
