Police ask for information in soldier's death

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Clarksville are asking for information in the death of a Fort Campbell soldier who was found dead from gunshot wounds after giving two men a ride in his car.

The Leaf-Chronicle reports that Clarksville police found 22-year-old Taylor Hotzoglou inside his car with multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday morning.

Detective Michael Ulrey said investigators don't know if the two men had anything to do with the soldier's death, but they want to speak to them and anyone else who has information.

His family said that he had just returned from a deployment to Afghanistan and was the type of person who was always willing to help out. His wife, Kerri, said it wasn't fair her husband survived the deployment only to be killed at home.
