NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A fire at a large propane tank has burned itself out in Nashville.
WTVF-TV reported the flames went out around 8 a.m., about two hours after it erupted behind a warehouse in a business park north of the city's downtown.
There were no injuries, but a forklift near the tank was destroyed.
An employee of the warehouse told the TV station 10-15 people were in the building when someone said there was a fire at the tank that contained fuel for the forklifts. Everyone got out safely and fire officials sealed nearby businesses and closed a road for a time.
Most fire equipment was moved back, but one engine remained, continuously dousing the tank with water until the fire eventually went out.
