JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- An event to connect area veterans with services in their communities is Tuesday at Jackson State Community College.
Rally Point, which is free, will feature more than 35 agencies and organizations with information on resources, including Veterans Administration claim assistance, vocational rehabilitation, education, employment, mental health, housing and business loans.
A previous gathering was in Knoxville in April and a similar event is scheduled for June 13 in Cookeville.
They are sponsored by various elected officials, the Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs and the community college.
