Replica of American flag now in governor's home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A replica of the American flag has been placed at the Executive Residence in Nashville.

The 6-by-9-foot metal relief sculpture was done by Nashville craft artist Ben Caldwell and has been installed in Conservation Hall at the governor's home.

It was created from 80-year-old copper that was used in gutters and downspouts before the home was recently restored.

It was a departing gift from outgoing Gov. Phil Bredesen and first lady Andrea Conte.
