Robbers use stun device in 2 Chattanooga holdups

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Robbers in Chattanooga have used a device intended for police use in two holdups.

In both incidents, two men held up fast-food restaurants Tuesday night, threatening employees with an electric stun gun.

In the first incident at a Captain D's seafood store, an employee was stung with the weapon. About a half-hour later, a Popeye's location was robbed with one of two robbers holding a stun device.

There were no immediate arrests.
