Sharp back pain sends man to hospital, turns out to be bullet wound

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Doctors in Williamson County have discovered a man who came to an emergency room complaining of a sharp back pain had been shot.

WSMV-TV reported the victim is a 48-year-old contractor who was working outside a home in subdivision Sunday afternoon when he felt a sudden pain. Co-workers took him to a Williamson Medical Center where the gunshot wound was found and the victim was transferred to a Nashville trauma center.

The man was released from the hospital Sunday night.
