HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)- The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office reports that it's narcotics unit caught Randy Wade Hilton thanks to a drug sting.
Deputies pulled over Hilton while he was behind the wheel of a Honda, suspecting that he was driving on a suspended driver's license.
When investigator searched Hilton's car they found five packages of "Panda Repellent" Bath Salts. Each package had a gram of the illegal substance. The total "street" value according to the Sheriff's office is 700 dollars.
According to investigators, previous investigations showed Hilton possessed bath salts with the intent to sell.
Hilton remains in jail on 75,000 bond.
He faces these charges:
Possession of Controlled Substance Analogues (Bath Salt) with Intent to Deliver (Class D Felony)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Driving on Suspended License (3rd Offense)
