NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added a Bradley County fugitive to its Top Ten Most Wanted list.
According to the TBI, Howard Montgomery Callaway of Cleveland is wanted on 32 counts of aggravated burglary as well as evading arrest and violating federal probation.
TBI agents tried to take the 39-year-old into custody on Monday, but Callaway fled in a vehicle, nearly running over an agent. Calloway and his passenger later abandoned their vehicle and ran into the woods. The passenger was apprehended the following morning, but Calloway is still at large.
Calloway has an arrest history that includes theft, aggravated burglary, domestic assault and drug violations. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
