NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee State University is putting on a small farm demonstration day this month.
The program is designed for small-acreage farmers and said Dr. Latif Lighari says it will demonstrate technology and have information on topics they are interested in. It also will be a good chance to build connections with other farmers and local agencies and resources.
The July 18 event will last all day on TSU's main campus in Nashville. There is no charge to attend.
Co-sponsors include the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, the University of Tennessee Extension, and the Tennessee Farm Bureau.
