ESTILL SPRINGS, Tenn. (AP) -- A southern Tennessee man has been charged with firing a shotgun as teenagers rolled a neighbor's yard with toilet paper, and one boy was injured.
The Chattanooga Times Free Press says a 15-year-old boy was hit by shotgun pellets and is recovering from his wounds.
Sgt. Chris Guess of the Franklin County sheriff's office says 65-year-old Dale Bryant Farris of Estill Springs is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. He is free on $125,000 bond and scheduled in court on Dec. 5.
A call to a number listed in Farris' name was not returned Wednesday evening.
He says the teenagers were rolling toilet paper Oct. 20 in a yard a couple of houses away, where Huntland School Principal Ken Bishop lives. Guess said Bishop didn't press charges.
