BELLE VERNON, Pa. (AP) -- A Tennessee woman is jailed awaiting extradition from southwestern Pennsylvania after federal marshals arrested her on charges she conspired with her boyfriend in a plot to murder her husband.
Online court records don't list an attorney for 42-year-old Lisa Michelle Cleary, of Meigs County, Tenn.
She was arrested at a home in Rostraver Township about 20 miles southeast of Pittsburgh on Tuesday morning.
The U.S. Marshals Service in Pittsburgh doesn't say how they traced her to that residence, but say Cleary was wanted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for the alleged plot in October 2011.
They say an undercover TBI agent was offered $15,000 and a gun to kill her husband.
Federal officials did not immediately identify that man or Cleary's boyfriend, or say whether Cleary or either man have connections to southwestern Pennsylvania.
