Tennessee state parks get new microsite

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation has launched a new microsite to commemorate the 75th anniversary of state parks.

It displays a wide range of content that can be used to plan a visit to one of the 54 parks. Done in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, it also includes an interactive historical timeline.

Bob Martineau, commissioner of environment and conservation, said the site stresses the natural, cultural and historical resources at the parks.

The site is in the link below.
