TRENTON, Tenn. (AP) -- Little teapots short and stout as well as those tall and elegant are being celebrated at the Trenton Teapot Festival.
The 32nd annual teapot festival began Sunday and continues through Saturday in the West Tennessee town.
Former festival chairwoman Betty Poteet says the festival is centered on more than 500 porcelain teapots collected by Dr. Frederick Freed during trips to Europe, Asia and North Africa. The pots are displayed in a museum at Trenton's City Hall.
Events on Monday include an evening block party.
