KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two men face attempted murder and kidnapping charges following a Monday night shooting at an east Tennessee apartment complex.
Bryan King and Rhythm Proffitt are each charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Kidnapping. They are being held on $500,000 and $510,000 bonds respectively. Proffitt also faces charges of Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Go Armed and Use of a Firearm During a Dangerous Felony.
The victim, Tyler Dean Clifton, is expected to survive. Police found him after they responded to reports of shots being fired at the Arbor Place Apartments around 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Clifton is expected to survive.
