KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Hawkins County Sheriff’s Department arrested two Rogersville residents after a narcotics investigation on Friday.
The arrests were made at a Rogersville restaurant on East Main Street.
Mary M. Lopez and Oscar Gary Osborne were arrested. Both appeared somewhat impaired on controlled substance medications and in possession of Oxycodone, Valium, and Carisoprodol which is the generic form of Soma.
The couple also had a nine year old child with them. The Department of Children’s Services took custody of the child until he could be properly placed in a safe environment.
Ms. Lopez and Mr. Osborne were transported to the Hawkins County Jail where they were charged with multiple counts of possession.
