KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The University of Tennessee's solar-powered house is visiting Nashville.
The 750-square-foot home will be on display at Nashville's Centennial Park from Wednesday to April 1. It showcases how solar technology can maximize energy efficiency and sustainability.
Several educational events about the project are being held in conjunction with tours of the home.
The house, called Living Light, was completed by the UT College of Architecture and Design in collaboration with nine UT academic disciplines. Collaborators include the Tennessee Valley Authority and other corporate and alumni partners.
