Veteran's benefit briefing being held in Farragut

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knox County Veterans Service Office is expanding its outreach to senior centers and working with faith-based groups to help reach veterans in Knox County.

There is a veterans benefit brief at First Baptist Concord on November 15 at 6:30 p.m. The church is located at 11704 Kingston Pike in Farragut. The meeting is open to the public.

The new Veteran's Service Office is now open in the Knox Central Building at 1000 N. Central Street.

They are offering meetings with Knox County Veterans Service officers to get assistance with claims during November.

Larry Cox Senior Center - Nov.r 15 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Carter Senior Center - Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

South Knox Senior Center - Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
