NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- World War II veterans get a thank you Tuesday in Nashville for their service to the country.
About 100 vets and their guardians will depart from Nashville International Airport on an honor flight to Washington, D.C. It will be a free roundtrip flight on US Airways to spend the day visiting the World War II Memorial and others.
The Music City Honor Flight, a Nashville organization established to honor the state's World War II vets, coordinated the flight.
