Wanted: Crooked Clown. Authorities search for clown after failed break-in

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- The Madison County Sheriff's Office says a man dressed as a clown tried to break into a mobile home.

The Jackson Sun reported the attempt before dawn Tuesday was unsuccessful.

Sheriff David Woolfork said that beyond the clown getup, there was no detailed description of the attempted intruder or the car he was seen driving away in.

The incident occurred on U.S. 412 at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
