MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a weekend house fire.
The Daily News Journal reported officials on Sunday released the name of 69-year-old Jane Marlin as the victim. Marlin lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Marvin Tomberlain.
The couple could not reach Marlin when the home caught fire early Sunday. Firefighters found her body in a bedroom after the fire was controlled.
The home was destroyed. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
