Woman shot, killed at Nashville dental office

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Nashville police say a receptionist has been shot and killed at a dental office in the upscale Green Hills area.

Officers said 48-year-old Vickie Pearsall was found dead by her employer, Dr. John Williams, on the floor behind her desk shortly after 7 a.m. Monday.

Police said they are following leads suggesting that Pearsall was targeted by the gunman.
