JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Jackson have arrested a staff worker at an adolescent residential psychiatric treatment center on sex charges.
According to The Jackson Sun, police were called early Thursday when another worker reported he caught 24-year-old Larry McIntosh in a sex act with a 13-year-old female resident.
A statement from police said the staffer immediately reported the incident to his superiors, who notified police.
McIntosh was arrested at the center -- Madison Oaks Academy. He was charged with aggravated statutory rape and statutory rape by an authority figure. McIntosh was booked into the Madison County Jail at 2:40 a.m. Thursday with arraignment set for Friday.
Police said the Tennessee Department of Children's Services will take part in the investigation.
