SPRING HILL, Tenn. (AP) -- Two upcoming agricultural workshops are designed to help dairy farmers track costs and profits.

The events in June and July will guide milk producers in determining whether processing milk products on the farm makes sense for them.

The workshops by the Center for Profitable Agriculture are a collaboration of the University of Tennessee Extension and the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation.

The materials covered are designed for cow milk products, but also apply to small goat and sheep dairies. Covered are fluid milk, yogurt and cheese production.

Registration for the Shelbyville event ends June 25 and Athens pre-registration ends July 3. The events are June 29 Shelbyville and July 10 in Athens. There is no charge for registration. It can be online at the link below.
