KNOXVILLE,Tenn. (WVLT)-- One dead and three injured after an early morning crash in Morristown.
Around 1:30 Saturday morning officers were dispatched to a single car wreck on Joe Hall Road at Debi Circle.
A white 2-door Honda Accord struck a utility pole, trapping the driver of the vehicle, Courtney Kinsler of Morristown.
19 year old Kinsler was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
There were also 3 juvenile passengers in car when it crashed. They were transported to Morristown Hamblen Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, but have now been releaseed. The three juveniles, ages 17, 16, and 14 are all from Morristown.
Investigators believe the car was traveling west on Joe Hall Road, and left the north side of the roadway striking a utility pole on the passenger side. The vehicle then went sideways and hit another utility pole on the north side of the roadway, severely striking the driver side door, and braking the utility pole.
Officers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
