It's going to be another exciting weekend here in East Tennessee so what are you plans?
Saturday September 25th visit the home of Tennessee's first Governor for "John Sevier Days" at his home the Marble Springs Historic Site. Shop around at the arts and craft fair and enjoy tours of the historical buildings. Also, check out the many 18th century demonstrations such as woodwork and open-hearth cooking. This is a perfect event for the whole family including children activities through Saturday and Sunday. The fun starts at 9:00 a.m.
At 10:00 a.m. Art-a-palooza wraps up after four days of fun at Fountain City Park. Make sure to catch the Chili Cook-off, a Whistling Contest, five local bands, and booths of arts and crafts.
How about a little football? University of Tennessee plays UAM at 12:21 p.m. You can catch the game live right here on WVLT your Volunteer Headquarters.
Have a great weekend!
